Final Project, Part 2 (Question 5)

This could be used for a Spanish teacher. The communication needs to be very good so the students don’t get confused and they know how to correctly pronounce the words. The teacher could record her voice to say the words for the current chapter. The calendar would be useful to map out the week’s classwork and homework. The question mash up would be a good way to ask the class questions and get answers if it is needed right away. The students could also study together by video or instant messaging.

Final Project, Part 2 (Question 3)

There will be functions that enhance the educational part of the site too. One will be a place where the teacher can record her voice talking about whatever he or she wants. Possibilities could be a word list or a monthly overview or even how to do an assignment. The second one will be a calendar that the teacher posts what the class will be doing and what the homework is for the night. It will keep students on track and will boost their grades.

Final Project, Part 2 (Question 2)

The website will have two other functions to keep it interesting. One will be a mash up that they can ask questions just like the one we worked with this year. The other will be another mask up where students can start an artwork and everyone can add to it. It will be like paint and the end project will be very intricate.

Final Project, Part 2 (Question 1)

The communication between teachers and students will be very easy. The students will have access to the teacher’s email and an instant messaging. Document sharing will be a key part of the web site. It will allow students to turn in their work if they can’t print it out at home or if they’re going to be absent the next day. Images, videos and other files are also going to shared and uploaded so everyone can view them. Students will be able to collaborate by video chat or instant messaging. This will make is so students don’t have to go to someone else’s house to work on their project.

Final Project, Part 1 (edmodo)

Edmodo has free online tools for the education community (students, teachers, professors, etc.). It is an education tool for teachers to use in the classroom. There is also a blogging tool. It is not very far as a website but its getting there.

Final Project, Part 1 (schoopy)

Schoopy is safe education networking for k-12. You can send messages to other students and get answers to your questions. It provides a calendar to plan your events and make sure you are reminded of certain dates. Teachers can post assignments and quizzes so you can gain access to them. There are pictures/images that you can look through to help you with your homework. You can also upload files and share them with your friends and teachers.

Final Project, Part 1 (edu 2.0)

Edu 2.0 is like a myspace for teachers. It is a place for teachers to communicate with students and other teachers. The teachers can share their methods and tools with each other. If you are a teacher you can register them as a class and give them assignments and class work. Edu 2.0 is sort of confusing to navigate through but its a very good tool for teachers and students.

Final Project, Part 1 (yacapaca)

Yacapaca is a teaching tool that helps teachers plan and organize their class. You can enter every student in the class and assign them quizzes ans tests over the internet. When the student is done with the test the score is submitted to the teacher. It is very easy to use and there is directions along the way to help.

1. I have a myspace but I don’t go on it like at all, not even daily.

2. My parents don’t have a myspace and i have showed them my page.

3. Friends-its a sick place where you can talk to your friends. Parents-a place where I talk with my friends kinda like an email. Grandparents-a place where I talk to my friends over the internet.

4. Myspace doesn’t change the way I provide info about myself. Myspace deems your name to be important. Communication is framed as all over the internet but by your pictures its more like you are actually talking. By meeting in person you mights see a persons real emotions and talk more in depth.
